To make the use of the e530’s and ACSx drive control over Modbus easier for the user, ABB have created a library of function blocks which offer an easy method to issue motion commands to the drive from the PLC. The library is included with this application note and can be imported into your program easily to give you easy to use commands to achieve simple single axis motion.
